Tufts Service Citation

Christine Conlon graduated from Tufts University in 1993, having studied at Eliot-Pearson to obtain a BA in Child Study. From there, Christine immediately pursued her master's degree (MSW) from Simmons University School of Social Work. Christine is an LICSW and has worked in child welfare for 30 years, notably spending over 15 years working with the Department of Children and Families, and leading up to her current role as Assistant Director for Child, Youth, and Family Services for the Department of Mental Health, Northeast Area. In between state positions, Christine provided individual and family therapy for clients in the private sector. Christine has always maintained an important connection with Tufts through her volunteer work on the committee for the Foster Children's Holiday Party (an endeavor that began during her undergraduate years at Tufts) as well as the Foster Children's Holiday Party/Summer Picnic. Both events serve to bridge her two passions: being a Jumbo and engaging in active service in supporting vulnerable populations.
