Since graduating from Tufts University School of Arts & Sciences in 2015, Lesley Wellener has built her career in Washington, DC, where she works as a Manager in Deloitte’s Human Capital Consulting practice. At Deloitte, she focuses on workforce transformation and strategic change management for Fortune 500 companies, Federal Government agencies & State Government agencies undergoing large-scale digital modernization.
While at Tufts, she studied International Relations and Latin American Studies and was involved in a variety of campus activities, including the Tufts Career Center Undergraduate Advisory Board, Club Tennis, and Greek Life. She also worked at Tisch Library and co-taught a Tufts Ex-College Explorations seminar on cultural memory in Chile and Colombia. Her time at Tufts shaped her passion for mentorship and organizational development, which has remained a theme throughout her career.
Lesley has remained an active Tufts alumna through volunteer leadership and mentorship. She has served on the ‘Bos of the Last Decade (BOLD) and on Tufts Alumni Council’s Career Services Committee, co-chaired the Class of 2015 Five-Year Reunion Committee, and mentored over 20 students through Tufts Tisch Summer Fellows and The Herd. She also supports Tufts students pursuing careers in consulting, conducting informational interviews and case interview preparation sessions as part of Tufts Undergraduate Recruiting for Deloitte.
