Oyinkansola is a senior from Bethesda, Maryland, but originally from Nigeria and Cameroon. She has left a profound impact on the Tufts community through her passionate advocacy for equity and inclusion. Majoring in International Relations with a concentration in International Economics and minoring in Spanish, she has dedicated her academic and professional journey here to exploring the intesections of economics, global development, and policy while advocating for equity in all spaces.

On campus, she has held various leadership roles with the Sub-Saharan Africa Research Group, Tufts Observer, Black Student Union, College Access Mentorship Initiative, and the African Students Organization—whose annual cultural event earned a ‘Program of the Year’ award under her tenure as Treasurer. Through her two part-time roles with the Office for Campus Life, Oyinkansola has had the rare opportunity to connect with nearly every corner of Tufts, helping build and sustain vibrant, inclusive student spaces. 

Beyond Tufts, she has interned at the International Monetary Fund, the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, and with Alianza por la Solidaridad - Action Aid Spain during her Tufts-in-Madrid study abroad experience. Alongside a global perspective shaped by living in four African countries and traveling all over the world, these experiences reflect her commitment to international advocacy and sustainable development.

Multilingual and globally minded, Oyinkansola currently mentors low-income and immigrant youth at ACEDONE. She aspires to a career at the intersection of international development, trade, and policy analysis where she hopes to continue amplifying underreprsented
communities.
