STATEMENT:

Tufts University is more than just my alma mater; it's a place that shaped me, fostered lifelong friendships, and instilled a deep sense of belonging. My time there was transformative, and I'm incredibly grateful for the experiences and relationships I gained. These connections remain a valuable part of my life, a testament to the special community that Tufts cultivates.

As a mother of three, I think about the future and hope my children have access to the same enriching educational opportunities I enjoyed. That's why I'm eager to join the Alumni Council. I want to contribute to ensuring Tufts continues to be a vibrant and innovative university, one I can wholeheartedly recommend to my children when they're ready for college.

Staying connected to Tufts has always been important to me. From helping with reunions to keeping up with classmates, I've enjoyed being part of the Tufts network. These experiences have shown me the power of alumni engagement and the positive impact we can have on the university.

My background as a teacher and my current involvement with a local charity have provided me with valuable skills that I believe would benefit the Alumni Council. I'm a strong communicator, a collaborative team player, and I'm passionate about making a difference. I'm confident I can contribute meaningfully to the council's work.

I'm particularly drawn to the opportunity to collaborate with fellow alumni who share my dedication to Tufts. Working together, I believe we can strengthen the university, support current students, and ensure Tufts remains a leader in higher education. I'm excited by the prospect of contributing my time, energy, and enthusiasm to this important endeavor. I'm confident that I would be a valuable asset to the Alumni Council. I love Tufts, I'm committed to its future, and I'm eager to give back to the university that has given me so much.
