Hometown: Arlington, VA
Major: International Relations
Minors: Cognitive and Brain Science and Classics
Savvy graduated summa cum laude this fall with a B.A. in International Relations, a minor in Cognitive and Brain Science, and a minor in Classics. She is passionate about advancing human rights protections through diplomacy and the law. In particular, she is interested in the intersection of conflict and human rights: how rights are threatened by authoritarian regimes, and how abuse is adjudicated in conflict and post-conflict zones. Those interests have led her to internships at the Carter Center, American Civil Liberties Union, and Massachusetts State House. This fall, intertwining her academic and professional background, Savvy taught a course on Human Rights through the ExCollege to 14 freshmen.
At Tufts, Savvy has been involved in various activities, with significant time dedicated to TCU Senate and Tufts Mock Trial. As a Senator, Savvy served in multiple leadership positions, spearheading efforts for mental health days, food security, LGBTQ+ support, and tuition transparency on campus. A two-time Team Captain on Mock Trial, Savvy has trained and mentored younger competitors for competitive success. She has also been recognized as a top national competitor herself, earning seven different Outstanding or All-Regional Attorney/Witness awards throughout her time on the program.
Outside of school, Savvy has prioritized volunteer work and community engagement. That work includes teaching English to immigrant women in Boston, coordinating educational programming for Latin students in Virginia, and teaching Tae Kwon Do classes in her home town of Arlington. Savvy was recognized for her civic engagement and commitment to public service as a 2026 Honors Civicus Society inductee.
Savvy has begun her graduate studies at Fletcher through the BA/MALD 4+1 program and will graduate with her Master's in Law and Diplomacy next spring.
