Mishaal is a senior majoring in TDPS, Film and Media Studies, and Political Science. Her academic interest lies in how artists interact with their political context through their work, and she is excited about opportunities that allow her to use her organizational competency to help artists bring their works to life.

During her time at Tufts, Mishaal has worked extensively with the Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies (TDPS), Pen, Paine, and Pretzels (3Ps), and Torn Ticket II, exploring all aspects of theatre -- including administration, directing, and performing, -- with a focus on stage and production management. The culmination of her work was stage managing the TDPS's Fall 2025 department show, Natasha Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812

Mishaal was a finalist to be the Wendell Phillips Speaker for the class of 2026, awarded the Stephen Sapuppo Prize and the Jane Anne Herman Newton Prize, and was a recipient of the Molly Glynn Summer Theatre award, which she used to spend a summer working and learning at the Glimmerglass Opera Festival.
