Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Alumni Volunteer Summit?
The All Together Tufts Alumni Volunteer Summit is an opportunity to bring together and celebrate our wonderful alumni volunteers, learn more about the university today and its current students, and create opportunities for alumni to shape the future of engagement.
Who is invited?
Alumni who volunteer with Tufts in any capacity are invited to attend, as are proud Jumbos looking for a way to share their time and expertise with Tufts. Graduate and professional school volunteers who are interesting in connecting with the broader university community are also invited to attend.
I’m not currently a volunteer, can I still register for the summit?
Yes! All alumni who would like to get involved with the broader university community are encouraged to attend. The summit will be a great opportunity for those who have not volunteered before to find new ways to get involved moving forward.
What will I do at the summit?
At All Tufts Together, participants will attend panel discussions, engage in brainstorming sessions, and have fun with fellow alumni. The goal of the summit is for volunteers to gain a deeper understanding of the university and today’s students, meet other amazing volunteers from around the world and share experiences, and help shape the future of alumni engagement.
Where can I find the program schedule?
The event will start midday on Friday, October 22nd and run through midday on Sunday, October 24th. Once the full program schedule is finalized, it will be posted here.
When does registration open?
Registration is live! You can sign up here.
Can I bring my Tufts friends who aren’t already involved?
Yes! We encourage all attendees to bring their Tufts friends along. The summit is a great way to connect with inspiring alumni around the world.
I want to attend, but my schedule is really full. Is it okay if I only attend a session or two?
Absolutely. Alumni are invited to join for as much of the summit as their schedule will allow. We are including a wide range of activities and discussions so that attendees can choose to participate in whichever sessions are most meaningful to them.
