Arts and humanities education is often discussed as a starting point, but its real impact unfolds over a lifetime. This conversation brings together artists, educators, and creative leaders to explore how humanities training shapes the way we think, create, and lead across disciplines. Panelists will reflect on how skills developed through arts education - critical thinking, language, interpretation, and cultural awareness - continue to inform their careers, institutions, and creative practices in meaningful and unexpected ways.

Our conversation will be moderated by Olivia Ives-Flores, A11, Founder, STUDIO FLO, founder and creative director, OH! ART AGENCY

Our panelists are:

Arnold Kemp, A91, Professor, School of the Art Institute of Chicago

Kate Levant, A06, experimental artist, Co-founder and Executive Director, KAJE

Zahirah Nur Truth, A21, interdisciplinary artist, arts educator, creative entrepreneur

Brandon Andrew, A11, Chief creative officer of Calexo and experiential designer
