Have you ever shared an idea in a meeting only to be interrupted or spoken over? Maybe you've been told to speak up more and show leadership, but something goes wrong—someone else takes credit, you fear correcting false information, or you go blank when asked for your opinion. The result? Anger, frustration, and less self-trust.
Growing up in unconventional Vermont with a defiant "why can't a girl do that?" Becky Farone turned that childhood declaration into a 30-year tech career. From her early days on Microsoft's original Outlook team to leadership roles at Nike, Starbucks HQ, and Columbia Sportswear, she consistently broke barriers in male-dominated spaces. A Tufts graduate who combined Art History and American Studies with a later master's in information design from Carnegie Mellon, Becky brings a uniquely interdisciplinary lens to her work. Today, as founder of Fireworks Coaching and an adjunct career advisor at MIT Sloan, she helps professional women transform their careers with the same determination that fueled her own journey. Drawing from both her extensive industry experience and coaching certification from the International Coaching Federation, Becky shares practical strategies for amplifying your voice and claiming your space in any professional environment.
