Due to circumstances out of our control, we will be postponing our webinar event that was supposed to take place at 6:00 PM. We are working on solidifying a new date and will let you know when we have done so. We appreciate your understanding and looking forward to "seeing" you soon. Thank you.
Please join the Tufts Lawyers Association (TLA) for a virtual discussion of the Dobbs case and the archaic methodology overturning Roe v. Wade, as well as its implications for equal rights to access to healthcare, and its impacts on the workplace, and across the globe. This webinar will be part of an ongoing series presented by the TLA Public Interest & Social Justice Committee.
With fundamental reproductive rights under threat, it is extremely important for the Tufts community to understand and challenge these injustices throughout our communities. During this webinar, you will hear from an esteemed group of panelists with expertise across multiple disciplines as they discuss these critical issues.
This thought-provoking panel will include:
Kimberly Theidon, Associate Professor and Henry J. Leir Chair in International Humanitarian Studies at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy
Cat Scott, Labor and Employment Defense Attorney at Morgan, Brown & Joy LLP
Nina Ashford, Clinical Assistant Professor in Public Health and Community Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine
Anne Coughlin, Lewis F. Powell, Jr., Professor of Law at the University of Virginia
Can't wait to "see" you there!
