We have a moral imperative to protect the environment. It is the right thing to do, from a moral and legal perspective. Environmental laws encompass a wide range of statutes that regulate everything from greenhouse gases, to air and water quality, to safe chemical and pesticide use. Unfortunately, getting our country and government to agree on safeguarding Mother Earth for generations to come is another story.

The Tufts Lawyers Association Public Interest and Social Justice Committee invites you to an informative webinar on Thursday, March 13 on environmental law and justice. Our esteemed panelists include Dano Weisbord, Chief Sustainability Officer at Tufts University and Executive Director of Campus Planning, John Rumpler, A88, Clean Water Director and Senior Attorney, Environment America and Brandon Rattiner, A10, Associate specializing in Energy and Climate at Kaplan Kirsch Rockwell. What keeps them up at night? In what ways can we come together and address the problems facing the environment?

This event will be held via Zoom webinar. An audience Q&A will follow their discussion.

We look forward to “seeing” you there!
