Joint Mathematics Meetings and Tufts Reception at Yard House

Calling Tufts alumni around the country who earned a mathematics degree or are working in the field. Please join us in DC Sunday, January 4-Wednesday, January 7, for The Joint Mathematics Meetings (JMM), the world's largest gathering of mathematics professionals and enthusiasts. The American Mathematical Society (AMS), in collaboration with partnering organizations, will host this exciting annual event in our nation’s capital. JMM 2026 promises a wide array of offerings, an impressive lineup of more than 3000 presenters, and organizers curating sessions, panels, workshops, courses, student activities, and invited addresses, plus exciting exhibits. This meeting will be held in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and Marriott Marquis Washington, D.C.
Following Tuesday’s programming, Boris Hasselblatt, Tufts University Professor of Mathematics, will be hosting a Tufts alumni gathering at the Yard House from 6:30-8:00 PM EST who all who are attending the JMM. Yard House is a 5-minute walk from the Convention Center and Marriott. Tufts will provide appetizers for all to enjoy and 1 drink ticket, redeemable for a glass of wine or beer. This is a great opportunity to network with those who are affiliated with the field of mathematics.
