The Joys and Challenges of Leadership in Higher Education: Eileen Babitt, Professor of the Practice of International Conflict Management

Join us for the fifth in a series of talks that explores how Tufts University Administrative leaders and Faculty are leading, and navigating, the current challenges in higher education. Professor Babbitt will share reflections on her journey as a leader in conflict management in higher education, and what brings her joy in her work. In this conversation with Vice Provost Monroe France, Professor Babbitt will also discuss how she has drawn on her expertise in conflict management and trust building to help Tufts navigate campus climate and to facilitate community-based conversations surrounding the war in the Middle East. She will also share her thoughts on the future of international affairs in higher education.
Attendees may submit questions in advance, and there will be a limited opportunity to answer questions from the virtual audience.
Presented to alumni but open to the entire community (parents, faculty, staff and students) this series will dig into the journeys, highlights and challenges of Tufts University leaders.
