The Joys and Challenges of Leadership in Higher Education: Karen Panetta, Dean of Graduate Education for the School of Engineering, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering

Join us for the fourth in a series of talks that explores how Tufts University Administrative leaders and Faculty are leading with joy while also navigating the current challenges in higher education. Dean Panetta will share reflections on her journey as a leader in the Engineering field in higher education, her pathway to becoming the first woman to be given tenure in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Tuts, and what brings her joy in her work. In this conversation with Vice Provost Monroe France, Dean Panetta will also talk about her work to promote women in the fields of engineering and science and her thoughts on the future of higher education.
