Law Day on the Hill: Jumbos in the House

You are cordially invited to the Tufts Lawyers Association (TLA) 21st annual Law Day on the Hill presentation, “Jumbos In the House,” a partnership with Tufts Career Center.

TLA will present a panel discussion featuring impressive alumni discussing their in-house careers. The role of in-house counsel has become ever more important in recent decades. Instead of simply hiring attorneys at outside firms, companies are building their own teams of lawyers inside their own legal departments. The size of a in-house legal department can eclipse the size of a law firm and lawyers may be embedded with particular business units in order to understand the client's business. Following the panel discussion, there will be a brief Q&A session.

The evening will both begin and wrap with networking between alumni and students. Plenty of time will be allowed for all to speak in more depth about careers, law school, and how Tufts students can connect with TLA attorneys.

Law Day is an opportunity for alumni to share career journeys and experiences, including any insight about law school, or the rewards and challenges of practicing law with current students. It also allows Tufts alums in the legal field to connect with one another. We look forward to seeing you there!

Beginning at 8:30 PM, all alumni in attendance are invited to stay for a wine and dessert reception until 9:30 PM.
