The Cape Cod Tufts Club invites alums, parents and friends of Tufts to join them on Saturday, November 14 for a fascinating look at the ocean’s most mysterious creatures – the octopus! This Zoom webinar will feature Dr. Roger Hanlon, a diving biologist who has produced astonishing images, videos, and scientific information about the camouflage and communication abilities of octopus, squid, and cuttlefish. Dr. Hanlon is a Senior Scientist and has built his career for 25 years here on Cape Cod at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole; he has affiliations with Brown University, RISD and University of Chicago. His presentation will include his beautiful photography, an overview of his research and a look at the unique experiences he’s had over his career.
