Q: When are Reunions?
A: Reunions will take place on the following weekend.
June 11-13, 2027
The following classes are celebrating a reunion:
Classes of: 1957, 1962, 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007, 2012, 2017, 2022 & 2026 -
Q: Why are Reunions moving to one weekend and not on Commencement?
A: Great question. While Commencement takes place in May, moving Reunions to a dedicated weekend in mid-June is a deliberate decision to improve the overall experience for alumni.
Commencement weekend at Tufts has become increasingly complex, with limited space, overlapping events, and high demand on campus resources. Alumni have consistently shared that it can feel crowded and difficult to navigate, which can take away from the reunion experience.
By shifting Reunions to June, we hope to create a more focused and enjoyable alumni celebration. A standalone weekend gives us the opportunity to offer:
- More time and space to reconnect with classmates
- Expanded, alumni-centered programming
- Better access to campus spaces, including more on-campus lodging
- Less competition for hotels in the area
- A more relaxed, celebratory atmosphere overall
Ultimately, this change ensures that Reunions can truly stand on their own as a signature alumni event, rather than competing with the many priorities of Commencement weekend.

Q: I want to make sure there are a lot of people from my class. How do I do that?
A: We want that, too! One great way to help is by becoming a volunteer for Reunions. Each class has a group of volunteers that help encourage attendance for Reunions. They send e-mails, make calls, and reach out to friends via social media to help guarantee a good class turn out. If you're not sure you want to be a volunteer, you can still encourage friends by reaching out to your personal networks and sharing your enthusiasm for Reunions on Facebook. The most important part of encouraging attendance is leading by example. If you register for Reunions, your friends are more likely to register for Reunions! To learn more about volunteering, please email Alice.Shah@tufts.edu.
-
Q: Can I invite friends who were in the year above or below me to our class reunion?
A: Yes, you can! We encourage classmates to invite friends from adjacent years to join reunions. It's a great way to reconnect with a broader group of friends and make the event even more enjoyable. When they register, just have them use the non-reunion year registration type, and they will be able to see all events

Q: Will the bookstore be open while I am on campus?
