Dan Jay is Professor of Developmental Molecular and Chemical Biology and Adjunct Professor of Drawing and Painting at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He recently served as the Dean of the School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences. Dan earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, was a junior fellow in the Harvard Society of Fellows and a John L. Loeb Associate Professor of the Natural Sciences all at Harvard University. He has published extensively on neuroscience and cancer biology.  He is also an active artist making works at the art-science interface and has exhibited and lectured internationally on the art-science interface. Travel-Learn program spanning 14 days, Dan Jay will explore the history, art and science of this great city from the perspective of the meeting of ideas from east and west.
