This special event is presented in partnership with the Tokyo Alumni Chapter, the Office of Alumni Relations, and the Tufts Travel-Learn Program. More about our special guest:

Patrick Webb is a professor at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University. He holds a Ph.D. in economic geography from the University of Birmingham (UK) and is a fellow of the London-based Royal Geographical Society. Professor Webb leads research on humanitarian policy and practice, development policy, nutrition, agriculture, food system development, and feeding the world. He is currently serving as senior adviser to the Global Panel on Agriculture and Food Systems for Nutrition.
