Volunteer at the SF Food Bank

Come together to give back with your fellow Jumbos! We’ll be packing and sorting food at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, which feeds 210,000 of our neighbors each year.

Before we get to work, our group will get to hear a special presentation by alum Alex Goldman, A14, N16, Program Coordinator for the Food Bank, who will tell us more about her work on behalf of the Food Bank in the Tenderloin and Treasure Island and where the food we’ll be packing goes.

Friends and kids aged 8+ are welcome too!

Accessibility: While a lot of the work requires standing and lifting, we can make accommodations for varying abilities; please contact us if you have questions.

Parking/directions: Parking will be available on Pennsylvania Ave. right in front of the Food Bank.
