Jumbo engineers put skills and values to work in the developing world

Tufts Engineers Without Borders (EWB) is a student organization creating sustainable engineering solutions for communities in the developing world. Tufts EWB engages students from engineering and arts and sciences, along with professional and faculty mentors, to draw on many disciplines and perspectives.

The primary focus of Tufts EWB is clean water access, with current projects in Malawi and Nicaragua. Student teams travel annually to host sites and develop their projects throughout the year. They utilize classroom learning, gain field experience, and develop complementary skills such as grant writing and the use of participatory methods to create meaningful solutions.

Your support of Tufts EWB enables future engineers to build essential skills and values while increasing health and prosperity for people in the developing world. Make a gift today.
