Serving the underserved in Massachusetts

The Tufts Dental Facilities (TDF) program provides comprehensive oral care for more than 7,000 adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Massachusetts. In community and on-campus clinics, TDF provides patients with care tailored to their unique needs and supported by the full expertise and resources of the dental school.

TDF clinics strengthen our communities and improve health-care equity for a historically underserved population while allowing dental students to develop clinical skills and knowledge to care for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. New dental school research on this patient population is informing the work of faculty and students in TDF clinics while increasing knowledge and capacity across the field.

Your contribution to TDF delivers excellent oral care to this underserved community of patients and supports greater equity in health care in Massachusetts. Make a gift today.
