Creating sustainable prosperity for all in a rapidly changing world

By 2050, the world’s population is projected to reach nine billion. Meeting global needs for food, water, energy, and other resources will require novel solutions and broad collaboration. At the CIERP, faculty and students are working to build sustainable prosperity in a changing global environment through research, education, and policy.

CIERP graduate education equips students with the knowledge to craft evidence-based policies and the skills to implement them. Professional training enables current practitioners to develop strategies and tools for the challenges they face. CIERP scholars are developing innovative approaches to put global development on a sustainable path, with particular focus on the EU, Brazil, China, and India.
