Tufts Talks

Announcement: Tufts Talks will be rescheduled to another day and time. Details are forthcoming.

Tufts Talks showcases esteemed faculty and researchers whose exciting research and discoveries are addressing today's most pressing issues, while propelling Tufts forward as a leading institution of higher education.

We are thrilled to offer this programming online, reaching our alumni, parents, and friends around the world.

Due to do social gathering capacity mandates and concern for the general well-being of our Tufts community Parents and Family Weekend 2020 will be held virtually, not in person this year. Updates about programming will be shared as soon as possible. If you have any questions regarding Parents and Family Weekend, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at parentsgiving@tufts.edu

Thank you to all of those that joined us for Parents and Family Weekend 2019!

All-university Degree Conferral Ceremony will be posted on the Commencement website on Sunday, May 17, at 8:00am EDT. This ceremony will include remarks from the president, recognition of those receiving emeritus certificates, presentation of degree candidates by school and the conferral of degrees by the Tufts University Board of Trustees. To view the ceremony please visit the Commencement website.

Share the Good News!

Students and parents can also share good news with their local papers!

A few times a year, the public relations office at Tufts sends certain kinds of good news announcements to undergraduate students' local newspapers. This could include enrollment at Tufts, graduation from Tufts, and certain honors and awards your child may receive in between.

In accordance with federal privacy regulations, we will include your child in these announcements only if she or he gives us permission by logging into the WebCenter and visiting the "Hometown News Release" function to authorize this service. If your child chooses to opt into this system, the newspaper announcements will potentially include her or his name, home city, state, major, degree earned, and the nature of the good news.

If you have any questions, please call the public relations office at (617) 627-4703.
