Our adventure begins with two nights in enchanting Buenos Aires. Then we’ll fly to the world’s southernmost city and board the five-star Ice-Class ship M.S. L'Austral for an exclusively chartered cruise to the White Continent. We’ll cross the legendary Drake Passage to the Antarctic Convergence, where fin, humpback, and minke whales abound. Our team of expert naturalists will share a series of insightful commentaries, and will lead onshore expeditions into the Antarctic wilderness. We’ll encounter towering mountains of ice and lava, majestic glaciers, and amazing wildlife, including surprisingly approachable penguins and seals. To top off this journey of a lifetime, we can even add a three-night excursion to awe-inspiring Iguazú Falls.

Major cities such as Bogota and Cartagena are complemented by smaller towns with charming colonial histories. Start in the cultural capital of Bogota, a city where modernity meets it colonial past and spend the day visiting museums, markets and the historic city center. Fly to the coffee region and visit the quaint villages and walk among wax palm trees in Cocora Valley, considered the tallest trees in the world. Visit a coffee farm and learn about how Colombia’s world-famous coffee is produced from planting to the finished cup of coffee in your hand and indulge in coffee tasting. Finally, end in the vibrant coastal city of Cartagena known for its music and salsa dancing and explore this walled-city; go on a street food tour, spend an evening tasting local rum and visit the first free slave town in the Americas.
