Giving to Tufts: The Why, Where, and How
Why is giving to Tufts so important? Your gift fuels the engine that creates transformative experiences for students across all Tufts’ campuses—in classrooms, labs, clinics, studios, stages, athletics fields, and shared learning spaces.
Gifts from alumni, parents, and friends empower Tufts students and faculty to be at the forefront of research and innovation, creativity and collaboration, and able to focus on civic engagement with a global impact.
Where you give is up to you—provide immediate and broad impact through annual fund gifts, cement your legacy through your estate, or provide leadership and endowed gifts to support faculty, research, or facilities.
With every gift, you enable Tufts to emphatically say “YES!” to educating creative scholars who generate bold ideas, innovate in the face of complex challenges, and distinguish themselves as active citizens of the world.
By giving, you help provide transformative experiences for students and faculty to learn in an inclusive and collaborative environment. When you invest in education, you fuel the future.
Donor Impact in Action
Collective charitable giving will deliver powerful impact on December 3, with matches and challenges for initiatives like undergraduate financial aid, internships, identity centers, athletics, and more.
Frank Roche, A19, AG20, has found “the perfect fit” at Tufts as civic life coordinator for athletics, a role created at the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life with a gift from Steve Tisch, A71.
Linda Yeung, F91, describes her opportunity to attend The Fletcher School as a “dream come true.” Fletcher faculty “encouraged us to look at the world through a legal and interdisciplinary perspective,” she said, while students from around the world added a range of viewpoints.
Celebrate Brighter
Brighter World concluded in June 2023, with more than $1.5 billion raised from 132,000+ generous donors. Through their support, the university has made tremendous strides in the critical areas of financial aid, research and innovation, and living and learning spaces on all of our campuses.
This success would not have been possible without the collective efforts of the university’s largest-ever cohort of volunteers, whose enthusiasm, outreach, and dedication drove the campaign to victory.
Thank you to everyone who participated in Brighter World—you’ve made a world of difference!
