Welcome, Tufts University Families!
The Tufts Parents Giving Program connects with parents to enrich the Tufts community, directly impacting the individual student experience. We're committed to ensuring Jumbos have every opportunity to thrive and achieve their potential. How do we accomplish this? By partnering with parents like you. We encourage parent philanthropy, engage leadership donors through our Parents Leadership Council, and host regional events and our annual Parents and Family Weekend.
As a parent, you’re part of the Jumbo family. Each year, parents are generous donors in support of the student experience at Tufts through annual and capital gifts. Last year, Tufts parents contributed over $15 million for student internships and research opportunities, faculty recruitment and retention, athletics and student wellness, student scholarship, innovative programming, enhanced and new facilities and more.
Want to meet other members of the Tufts community? Join us at an event. We host several smaller parent events throughout the country and internationally, connecting parents to each other, to the university, to faculty and to senior administrators. Parents also participate in many of the events and affinity groups organized through the Tufts Office of Alumni Engagement.
Each October, the Parents Giving Program welcomes thousands of parents, family members, and friends to campus for Parents and Family Weekend. In 2023, we welcomed more than 3000 families to campus to experience what life is like for your Jumbo. To view our keynote address and photos from the weekend as well as recorded programming from past years, please visit our, Parents and Family Weekend page.
Save the Date for Parents and Family Weekend 2024 – Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19.
