The Tufts Parents Giving Program is your gateway to making a meaningful impact on the student experience. By partnering with parents, we help ensure every Jumbo has the resources and opportunities to thrive, academically, socially, and personally.
How We Make A Difference
We foster parent philanthropy, engage leadership donors, and host events that bring our community together—locally, globally, and on campus. Each year, parents generously support Tufts through annual and capital gifts. In the past year alone, parent contributions exceeded $15 million, funding:
- Student internships and research
- Faculty recruitment and retention
- Athletics and wellness programs
- Scholarships and financial aid
- Innovative academic and co-curricular programming
- Facility enhancements and new spaces

Leadership Opportunities
Looking to deepen your impact? Explore two unique opportunities for philanthropic leadership:
- Tufts Parents Leadership Council
A small focused group of leadership donor families who serve as ambassadors for Tufts, advancing the university’s mission through philanthropy and outreach. - Jumbo Family Giving Circle
A new giving society for families who contribute a minimum of $1,000 to any area of Tufts. Members receive special recognition and opportunities to engage with the university.

Each October, we welcome thousands of families to campus for Parents and Family Weekend. In 2025, over 4000 family members joined us to experience campus life firsthand. Mark your calendar for October 9-10, 2026!
