What does BOLD do?

  • Regional Events

BOLD members serve as boots-on-the-ground planners in major cities across the country. They assist the Office of Alumni Engagement in choosing venues and experiences that cater to young alumni. From happy hours at breweries to comedy shows to service days and more, BOLD members help plan 2-3 events in their city throughout the year to provide opportunities for young alumni to connect off the Hill.

    Upcoming Events

  • #TuftsGivingTuesday

Launched in 2012, #GivingTuesday, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (U.S.), is a global day dedicated to giving back. Each year, Tufts has gotten more involved—this year more than $4 million was raised by 9,029 participants.

#TuftsGivingTuesday is an important Tufts tradition for students, alumni, parents, friends, faculty, and staff to support what matters most to them—and to you —at Tufts.

On #TuftsGivingTuesday, BOLD members encourage their classmates and friends to contribute to Tufts and make an impact through the dozens of challenges focused on financial aid, student life, athletics, DEIJ initiatives, first-generation student support, and much more.

Our Co-Chairs

The BOLD Co-Chairs partner directly with the Tufts Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement teams to help steer young alumni engagement and philanthropic opportunities. They keep a pulse on how recent graduates want to engage with Tufts and connect young alumni with causes that are important to them.
