What does BOLD do?

• Young Alumni Events

  BOLD members serve as boots-on-the-ground planners in major cities across the country. They assist the Office of Alumni Engagement in choosing venues and experiences that cater to young alumni. From happy hours to community service days to webinars and more, BOLD members help plan events throughout the year to provide opportunities for young alumni to connect off the Hill.

• #TuftsGivingTuesday

  Launched in 2012, #GivingTuesday, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (U.S.), is a global day dedicated to giving back. Each year, Tufts has gotten more involved—last year, a record $4.95 million was raised by close to 8,000 people.

  #TuftsGivingTuesday an important Tufts tradition for students, alumni, parents, friends, faculty, and staff to support what matters most to them—and to you —at Tufts.

  On #TuftsGivingTuesday, BOLD members encourage their classmates and friends to contribute to Tufts and make an impact through the dozens of challenges focused on financial aid, student life, athletics, DEIJ initiatives, first-generation student support, and much more. This year, BOLD volunteers invited peers to give to financial aid to support the first BOLD Scholar - a scholarship for a deserving student funded entirely by young alumni.
