Los Angeles Times reporter Rosanna Xia, in a conversation with Environmental Studies Director Colin Orians, will share her experiences working in the field. She will also talk about her time at Tufts and her recent interactive project on sea level rise, which was a Pulitzer Prize finalist this year in explanatory reporting.

Rosanna Xia is an environment reporter for the Los Angeles Times. She covers the coast and has written about sea level rise, public rights to nature and endangered species deep beneath the sea. Her stories connect science and policy and have led to new laws and regulations. She was a Pulitzer Prize finalist in 2020 for explanatory reporting and holds a degree in quantitative economics and international relations from Tufts University.
