I’ll Have What She’s Having: Making Spirits for Women

Please join the TWN NYC for an evening with Dr. Nicola Nice, Founder and CEO of Pomp & Whimsy – an award-winning gin liqueur created by women, for women – that has been attracting the attention of the likes of Vogue, Forbes and The Robb Report!  Dr. Nice earned a PhD in sociology and spent the first 20 years of her career in the field of consumer insights and brand strategy across a variety of industries – from fashion to personal care to spirits.  Throughout her career, Dr. Nice understood that women have been left out of the cultural conversation on spirits. With few brands actively geared towards the female consumer, the female drinking population has been drastically underserved relative to their participation in the category. Yet, as drinking culture has changed dramatically over the last 20 years, women have become a key driver in the growth and trends of spirits. Dr. Nice will share her interesting story with us. And of course, we’ll get a taste of her gorgeous spirit inspired by an old style of gin once popular among our great-great-grandmothers – known affectionately at the time as Mother Gin!
