Building diversity and opportunity in STEM

The Center for STEM Diversity strives to build a culture of diversity and inclusion in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) at Tufts and increase participation of students from groups underrepresented in STEM, including women, African-Americans, Latino/Chicano students, and LGBTQ students.

Through programs like BEST (Bridge to Engineering Success at Tufts) and the STEM Ambassadors program (giving Tufts students the opportunity to teach and mentor high school students), the center strengthens the Tufts education and builds the STEM pipeline for future college students.

The center welcomes your generous support to serve the diverse student community of Tufts and offer STEM education of the highest caliber.
