Experiencing Tufts Today

We aren’t able to welcome you to campus this fall for our traditional Parents and Family Weekend, so in its place we’ve developed an exciting and informative virtual program for Tufts parents and families. We hope you can join us on October 17, 2020!

October 13, 2020, 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm

How is COVID-19 impacting our efforts to attract the best, brightest, and most diverse student body? How will Tufts continue to meet the full demonstrated need of all of its students in today’s challenging environment and beyond? How do we ensure that a Tufts education is accessible and affordable to our most talented and deserving students?

Administrators and students will address these questions and more.

The Spring 2020 All-University Degree Conferral Ceremony is posted on the Commencement website. This ceremony includes remarks from the president, recognition of those receiving emeritus certificates, presentation of degree candidates by school and the conferral of degrees by the Tufts University Board of Trustees. To view the ceremony please visit the Commencement website.

Share the Good News!

Students and parents can also share good news with their local papers!

A few times a year, the public relations office at Tufts sends certain kinds of good news announcements to undergraduate students' local newspapers. This could include enrollment at Tufts, graduation from Tufts, and certain honors and awards your child may receive in between.

In accordance with federal privacy regulations, we will include your child in these announcements only if she or he gives us permission by logging into the WebCenter and visiting the "Hometown News Release" function to authorize this service. If your child chooses to opt into this system, the newspaper announcements will potentially include her or his name, home city, state, major, degree earned, and the nature of the good news.

If you have any questions, please call the public relations office at (617) 627-4703.
