Candidate Statement: Since graduating from the School of Arts & Sciences with a BA in International Relations in 2015, I have been an active and involved member of the alumni community in Washington, DC. I have served as an Alumni Interviewer and Tisch Summer Fellows Mentor, been Co-Chair of the Class of 2015 Reunion Committee, and more! Inspired by my love for my alma mater and passion for supporting career development for fellow Jumbos, I decided to get involved in the Career Services Committee for the Tufts Alumni Council (TAC) in 2018 to further support alumni career development. I have spent the past year on the committee as a non-TAC member, and I have decided I’d like to further invest my time in the community as a formal member of the Tufts Alumni Council.

The support I’ve received from Tufts and its alumni have been invaluable to my career development, and I’d like to join the TAC to help provide expanded opportunities and access to career development programs for all Tufts alumni. I am also interested in developing stronger connections between alumni, TAC programming, and the Tufts Career Center.

I bring experience in alumni mentorship and an interest in expanding career development opportunities for alumni to my role on the Council. In addition to my experience supporting alumni and student career development through the TAC, the Herd, and Tufts Tisch Summer Fellows Mentorship Program, I also served on the Career Services Undergraduate Board as a student at Tufts. As a result, I have a unique understanding of the student career development experience and how that can translate to success as an alumnus.  I am committed to being an active member of the TAC who willingly brings forth new ideas and perspectives for what young Tufts alumni need in terms of career development support and opportunities.
