Creating a New Campus Community

Jane, J60, and Monte Haymon, E59, met as Tufts students when Jane was studying biology and Monte chemical engineering. Their undergraduate years on the Medford campus sparked a nearly 60-year love story and a lifetime commitment to Tufts.

The School of Dental Medicine’s Class of 1979 has created an endowed scholarship fund to provide financial aid to deserving students. The gift was inspired by the camaraderie this class shares, which has only deepened over the decades since Commencement.
